Should All The Stimulus Money Have Gone Into Health Care?
ByThis Country is getting old and if we want to create a future its the Business of taking care of the elderly that would have been an investment not just a band-aid. There is already a Nursing shortage would be a stepping stone for a great place to start. Start Building affordable elderly care homes. The more expensive ones are already popping up every where. I don’t disagree with your intentions but I do feel that they didn’t need a new economic stimulus plan. I don’t see how it could really do any good. If you looked at the money passed around, it went to b.s. If you are going to use money in such a manner, may as well use it for health care. I don’t see a problem with that. Unfortunately, a lot of it went to various bureaus of the government that we really don’t need any more activity from such as DHS, DEA, ATF and whatnot. I believe that we have more than enough federal agents. I don’t think that anyone wants to feel as if we are policed any more than we actually are.

No. as for as the elderly, BO is going to let them die off instead of treating them, same as not treating babies that survive a abortion attempt. His Health care will be for illegals too, plus his health care coverage are for the already healthy, not sick people. He is a cold hearted , far left , radical liberal and never intended on doing what is right for this country. How can people be so blind, just totally amazes me.

I think healthcare is going to get a great boost if the republicans will let it. Obama couldnt do what you want anyways..the republicans want everyone to be for themselves. If you cant…tough. Thank god for the caring democrats. I think Obama will get it all better in the future. I was going to go to school to be a nurse and I couldnt get the grants.

Our money should not have gone anywhere! The new budget needed to be addressed and needs to pass without the 8,450 earmarks, you know, those things Obama was not going to let happen? The rest of our money should stay unborrowed and we need to keep the debt under control. It works at my house, it should oughta work in the big house too.

the ’stimulus money’ seems to be going into everything BUT stimulating the economy…remember the ‘worst economy since the depression?’ (obama’s quote, not mine)…seems to me that the economy is just a pretext for passing legislation to please the far-left special interests of the social democrats…

No, it should’ve gone towards Tax cuts to help everyone have money to pay their bills and companies have money to hire more people. That’s free Enterprise and it’s proved successful so many times.

Obama’s “stimululs” was a waste too — cbo says it would have been better to do nothing…that is his plan will do more harm in the long run.

No, would not have had enough of an immediate effect. More money should have gone to aid state governments, less for tax cuts, IMHO.
